Each year, the Music Program offers an exciting opportunity for all students involved in music classes, marching band, chorus, and more to participate in the Spring Trip

This year, the trip is planned for Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, OH, from May 15–18, 2026
This is a wonderful opportunity for your student to perform in a unique setting, build lasting memories, and bond with friends who share a passion for music and performance. The group typically departs from the SPHS parking lot before school ends on Friday and returns on Monday afternoon. The trip is filled with activities, performances, and, of course, plenty of time to enjoy the rides with friends.

At this time, we would like to share instructions for how to register and set up payment plans
Please note: A detailed itinerary and performance schedule are not yet available.
Trip Cost:
  • Student: $1,000
  • Chaperone (Adult): $850
Travel insurance is highly recommended and will be offered at the time of registration.

Fundraising Opportunities
To help offset the cost of the trip:
  • The travel company offers a monthly payment plan (September 2025 – February 2026).
  • The Band and Orchestra Boosters (BOB) will be running fundraising initiatives open to all music students. A portion of the money raised will go directly into your student’s personal account in Membership Toolkit at www.sphsmusic.org, and can be applied for the final payment. Here are some of these events: Double Good Popcorn, ad sales, sponsorship sales, etc.

New This Year – Scholarship Fund
We’re excited to introduce a new opportunity: two full scholarships will be awarded to students whose families demonstrate financial need. These generous scholarships are donated by a family within our BOB community, and we are incredibly grateful for their support.
