Boosters Organization
Scheduled Meetings
From September until June, the first Wednesday of the month is Band Booster
night. The adult Band Boosters meet in the Band Room, M2, at school
to discuss any and all business regarding the activities of the Band,
Orchestra and the Boosters. These meetings are the best way to
keep up with what's going on with the Band and Orchestra. You will
find out about fundraisers, competitions, band performances, Concerts,
travel plans, football game schedules, parent activities, and so forth.
It is also a forum to ask questions and exchange ideas with other Booster
parents. Students do not usually attend these meetings but there will
be some occasions when selected members are requested to attend. The
meetings start around 7:30 p.m. and last about 1 1/2 - 2 hours.
Prior to the meeting a newsletter is mailed to all Band and Orchestra
Booster members. We try to have the newsletter to you the week before
the regularly scheduled Booster meeting. Becoming a member is the only
sure way to get the information about up-coming events. The membership
fee is minimal and covers our cost of printing and mailing the newsletter.
You can join the Band and Orchestra Boosters organization by signing
up at Band Camp or at any of the subsequent meetings or by clicking
on the Membership for to the right or using the form in the newsletter.
You can also order a name badge at the same time if you wish to have
one.
