Grocery Card Fundraising Program
shopping$$$$ Free Money! $$$$

You gotta eat, right?  Use the money you would be spending on groceries anyway to order grocery gift cards and have money go into your child's fair share account.

We have cards available in $50 and $100 denominations for Giant, Food Lion, and Shoppers. You can order as many cards as you want - 5% of each card's value goes toward your fair share.

Contact Linda and Greg Wright at grocerycards@sphsmusic.org or llwggw@verizon.net or connect with them at sub sales or BOB meetings to place an order. The check goes to the treasurer. They will let you know when the grocery cards are available for pick-up.

This program will run from July 2016 through April 2017.

Sub Sales
subsSub sales are the primary means for our students to earn money to cover the costs of their fair share. This has been a tradition for over 40 years, and enjoys wide acceptance across the Severna Park community. A successful sub sale requires students to proactively collect sub orders from friends, family, neighbors and the community and also requires commitment by the parents who volunteer their early Saturday mornings to assemble the subs.

New items now available - PRETZEL ROLL SANDWICHES!!  Get more information here.

The price for subs is $7.50, with $3.75 of that going toward the student's fair share, and for the pretzel roll sanwiches the price is $6.00 with $2.50 going toward fair share. In addition, $3.75 or $2.50 of each sub or sanwich a customer purchases is tax deductible since it goes directly to offset expenses through the SPHS Band & Orchestra Boosters, a 501(C) organization.

Go to the Sub Sale Information page for dates of the sub sales, order forms, and lots of useful information for students and parents.

Please contact Andy Trimpin at andy.trimpin@taiengineering.com with any sub sale question you may have or to request your name be added to a student's call list.

Where Does the Money Go?

Many fundraising events are undertaken by the students and the Band and Orchestra Booster organization. These funds are used for travel to events (competitions, performances, parades, etc), new uniforms, new instruments, instrument repair, instruction materials and many other items.
