Fund Raising Opportunities

Many fund raising events are undertaken by the students and the Band and Orchestra Booster organization.  These funds are used for travel to events (Tournament of Band Competitions, parades, Color Guard competitions, etc), new uniforms, new instruments, instrument repair, instruction materials and many other items.

Sub sales are the primary means for our students to earn money to cover the costs of their fair share. This has been a tradition for 40 years, and enjoys wide acceptance across the Severna Park community. A successful sub sale requires students to proactively collect sub orders from friends, family, neighbors and the community and also requires commitment by the parents who volunteer their early Saturday mornings to assemble the subs. The price for subs is $7.00. Of course that means the students’ fair share amount will be $3.50 per sub. Remember, that $3.50 of each sub a customer purchases is tax deductable since it goes directly to offset expenses through the SPHS Band & Orchestra Boosters, a 501(C) organization. Holiday Cookie Sales - Cookie Flyer

This is a highly successful fundraiser for the band and a beloved community tradition. Thank you in advance for your support of our holiday fundraising event. This provides delightful and delicious treats to those who can’t bake for themselves. It also reminds the community that they have a vibrant, talented, and performing dedicated band in their midst! Grocery Card Fund Raising Program $$$$ Free Money! $$$$
We have cards available in $50 and $100 denominations to Food Lion, Giant, and Shoppers. Here's how they work. I can have them available for your purchase at the monthly Booster meetings and at the monthly Sub Sales. Bring me a check made payable to "SPHS BOB". I hand you the gift card and 5% gets credited to your personal Fair Share account (in the case of a $50 card your 5% would equal $2.50).
